Base and Affiliate Hospitals

The apex hospital for Universal Health Care in Southern Cebu, Cebu South Medical Center (CSMC) serves as the base hospital of Alberto P. Concha School of Medicine. It is a DOH level III hospital in Talisay, Cebu City, with authorized bed capacity of 201 and residency training programs in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics-Gynecology, and Pediatrics, all accredited by their respective accrediting societies.

The Year IV medical students, also called Clinical Clerks, will be deployed to CSMC for the four major rotations (Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics-Gynecology, and Pediatrics). Minor and elective rotations will be done in other affiliated institutions such as Mayor Hilarion A. Ramiro, Sr. Medical Center in Misamis Occidental, Zamboanga City Medical Center in Zamboanga City, Dr. Jose Rizal Memorial Hospital in Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center and Corazon C. Aquino Hospital in Dipolog City.

The Year II and Year III students may be sent to clinics and nearby affiliate hospitals for their preceptorial activities.
