Scholarships

Supporting Academic Excellence and Ambition

Scholarship grants may be offered to meritorious applicants or students based on the following scheme:

ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP (YEAR I)

100% Scholarship for an applicant with any (or combination) of the following credentials:

  • Summa cum laude honors

  • GWA of 1.00 - 1.25

  • NMAT score of 96% - 100%


75% Scholarship for an applicant with any (or combination) of the following credentials:

  • Magna cum laude honors

  • GWA of 1.26 - 1.50

  • NMAT score of 91% - 95%

50% Scholarship for an applicant with any (or combination) of the following credentials:

  • Cum laude honors

  • GWA of 1.51 - 1.75

  • NMAT score of 86% - 90%

25% Scholarship for an applicant with any (or combination) of the following credentials:

  • Honorable mention honors

  • GWA of 1.76 - 1.99

  • NMAT score of 81% - 85%

RETENTION OF SCHOLARSHIP (YEARS II, III AND IV)

100% Scholarship for a student with the following credentials from the previous academic year:

  • GWA of 1.00 – 1.25

  • No failed, unsatisfactory or incomplete grades

  • No disciplinary action


75% Scholarship for a student with the following credentials from the previous academic year:

  • GWA of 1.26 – 1.50

  • No failed, unsatisfactory or incomplete grades

  • No disciplinary action

50% Scholarship for a student with the following credentials from the previous academic year:

  • GWA of 1.51 – 1.75

  • No failed, unsatisfactory or incomplete grades

  • No disciplinary action


25% Scholarship for a student with the following credentials from the previous academic year:

  • GWA of 1.76 – 1.99

  • No failed, unsatisfactory or incomplete grades

  • No disciplinary action

OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS

The DMC College Foundation Scholarship is a benefit given to full-time employees to assist them in sending their children or spouse to school at DMC College Foundation, Inc.

Who are eligible:

  1. Currently DMCCFI Employees are eligible to apply for the scholarship of their children and /or spouse. A single or married employee who has not availed of the said benefits for their children/spouse may avail for their nieces or nephews. For every (10) years of service the employee shall be entitled to one (1) scholar and only the tuition fee would be free. The percentage of financial assistance to be granted is dependent on the number of years of full-time service rendered by the employee, as follows:

    • Employees who have served 1-3 years, 25% off on Tuition Fees on legitimate children and spouse.

    • Maximum of two (2) scholarship only.

    • Employees who have served more than 3 years up to 5 years 50% off on All Fees of legitimate children and spouse.

    • Maximum of two (2) scholarship only.

    • Employees who have served more than 5 years up to 10 years 75% off on All Fees of legitimate children and spouse.

    • Maximum of two (2) scholarship only.

    • Employees who have served 10 years and above 100% off on All Fees of legitimate children and spouse.

    • Maximum of two (2) scholarship only.

  2. Conditions for the Scholarship

    • The employee availing of the benefit must be in good standing. If an employee is terminated for just case as provided for under Art. 282 of the Labor Code of the Philippines or is dismissed due to wrongful or negligent acts under the company’s disciplinary code, the child/spouse/scholar can no longer avail of the benefit in the succeeding term for tertiary level or succeeding School Year for Basic Education.

    • Child/spouse availing of the scholarship must not be under academic or disciplinary probation, otherwise the scholarship benefit shall be terminated at the end of the school year. (For Basic Education or next semester for tertiary level)

    • There is no requirement as to GPA or grades to be maintained by the student. However, if the student drops or fails a subject, fees of the dropped or failed subject must be paid for.

    • If a beneficiary under this Scholarship benefit shall enroll in a special class, the financial assistance/discount shall not apply.

    • Fees which are collected by the school which are to be remitted to third parties as payment for affiliation/membership or services provided by another entity or company are to paid in full by the employee and is not covered by the financial assistance/discount granted under this benefit, such as but not limited to:
